02 / Scope
What every website includes, and what costs extra.
Everything in the first list is in every quote we write. Take this to other studios and check theirs matches, because a cheap quote usually means one of these is missing.
Most of your visitors arrive on a phone. Every page is built and checked on phone, tablet and desktop, and Google expects nothing less before it will rank you well.
Proper heading order, readable colour contrast, keyboard navigation and labelled form fields, checked against WCAG 2.2 AA. Around one in five people in the UK has a disability, so this is about who can actually use your site, not just ticking a box.
A clean install, no bloated theme, and the editor tidied so the buttons you need are the ones you see. Your logins are yours, with full admin access from day one.
Royalty-free stock photography at no extra cost, or your own photos cropped, compressed and made to look their best. Nothing pixelated, nothing stretched.
Send us your words and we will tighten them and work in the phrases people actually search for, or we will draft the basics if you have none. Page titles, descriptions, headings, alt text, clean URLs, sitemap and structured data all set up properly.
Clean structured data, sensible headings and an llms.txt file, so AI assistants can read your site and describe it correctly. More people are asking ChatGPT and Google’s AI overviews for recommendations, and this is the groundwork for turning up in those answers.

Free, about an hour. What the site needs to do, who it is for, what you already have. You get a fixed price after this, itemised.

A page to react to
We design your home page first and show you the real thing in a browser. Far easier to judge than a mood board.

Build and review
Built out on a private staging site you can visit whenever you like. Weekly check-ins, changes as often as you need.

Testing and launch
Speed, forms, phones, tablets, older links redirected. We handle the switchover so nothing drops out of Google.

Handover and after
Logins, walkthrough videos and 30 days of tweaks included. Take a care plan if you want it, not because you are stuck.

05 / Straight answers

Something not covered? Ask on the call. We would rather tell you a website is the wrong spend than sell you one.
Most small business brochure sites we build land between £1,500 and £4,000. You get a fixed, itemised price after the scoping call, so there are no surprises halfway through.
Three to six weeks is typical for a brochure site once we have your content. The thing that slows builds down is almost always waiting on words and photos, so we will chase you gently.
Those are fine for a simple site you build yourself. WordPress gives you ownership, far more room to grow, better SEO control, and the freedom to take your site to another developer if you ever want to.
Most small businesses start with five to eight: home, about, services, a page or two of work or reviews, and contact. We will suggest a structure on the call, based on what people actually search for in your trade.
Yes, and a lot of our work is exactly that. We keep what is working, move your content across, and redirect every old page so you hold on to your Google rankings.
Yes, and most clients do. You get admin access and short videos walking through your own pages. If you would rather we made the changes, a care plan covers that.
Thirty days of small tweaks are included. After that you can take a monthly plan covering hosting, updates, backups, security and a set amount of changes, or just email us when you need something.
